DragNet began as a local dialup ISP, with a small amount of equipment in rural NSW.

DragNet then expanded its solid local user base over NSW, VIC and ACT before becoming a truly national service provider. By this stage, DragNet had established itself as a trustworthy “home grown” Internet Service Provider with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Recently, fuelled by the broadband uptake across Australia, gradual adoption of internet technology and e-commerce, government subsidy programs HIBIS and Broadband Connect, demand for high speed internet saw the introduction of new products including ADSL, Satellite and Wireless.

Despite DragNet’s growth, it has retained a reputation as a progressive and reliable organization with grassroots ties to the country and its mostly rural user base. DragNet has capitalized on this growth with a strong market brand recognition and trust.

DragNet continues today by investing capital directly back into infrastructure and services for Australian customers.
