Blocked / Flagged Email

If you have had an email blocked for being spam or virus related, it will be flagged as such and sent to you as an attachment from " This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ". Users who receive a lot of spam may not wish to receive the many notifications. There are several options for handling this .

1. Adding This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to Outlook Express Blocked Senders List.

In this case you can add " This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it " a mail rule, or block sender list so they go straight into your deleted items instead of the INBOX.

  1. Click once on an email from " This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it " in your INBOX
  2. Click on the Message menu
  3. Click on Block Sender and click OK

2. Request to be added to the Digest group.

In this case you can request to not recieve email from This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for the spam censor rule. Instead of getting flagged emails you will not recieve the email at all and once a day you will recieve a report with all emailed blocked that day. NOTE - These emails cannot be released so we only recommend this option to users with a high volume of blocked email who would rather lose legitimate email than see flagged spam emails. To have this enabled send the request to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

3. Opt Out of filtering.

As the filtering service is optional, if you do not wish to have your email filtered please send the opt-out request to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Legitimate Mail Flagged.

If you have an email blocked which is legitimate, check the text of the email you receive from us to find out why it was blocked. If you would like the sender to be added to our friendly sender list forward the noreply flagged email message to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . As messages are only flagged, and not destroyed you should still have the original email text attached to the DragNet notification.
